Flying within Europe during a Europe vacation, I encounter the small bag restrictions. In the back of my mind, I was thinking that there is the possibilty that they won't check. And they didn't. They did eyeball some bags and determined it to be larger than normal but aside from that, I see many suitcases & personal bags that's bigger than they stated being let through. I worry and worry and packed to adhere to those dimensions and arghhh. Yeah, there is an off chance that they will check and I guess putting thise limitation lighten their load as people like me will pack lighter. But booo to them for stressing me out.

I think it's awesome that you're married to a pilot. If for no other reason than it gives you more travel cred.

as a septuagenarian, there are many meds I take daily; one is a controlled drug. When I fly with only a carry-on, but will be gone for over a month, there are many meds I take. I have packed the control meds in a baggie with the prescription label on the baggie. Our pharmacy recycles prescription bottles, so I've learned how to remove the entire label intact by slipping an envelope opener into one corner making it easier to remove. I can now travel lighter with my med,s yet still have the prescription label should I need to show it!

The biggest question is why would anyone want to go see Europe. Stay in America …. We have everything you need.

Interesting tidbit…I read that everyone uses these neck pillows incorrectly. The open part is supposed to be on the back of your neck!🤷‍♀️

This is off-topic but I am actually finally going somewhere yay I wear an AFO and require the use of a cane and take multiple medication‘s daily. What if any information do I need for my doctor to get these items on board as I need the first two to walk and I can’t afford to lose the third one obviously I haven’t flown in over 20 years and just lost any info would be greatly appreciated❤

Took my first river cruise last year. Seine River LOVED IT.

My last couple of flights, I've brought chocolate for the flight attendants and they seem to be very appreciated of it. It is such a small thing to do to make their long day a little bit brighter.

American Airlines always make you put your crossbody bag into your personal or carry-on.

Maybe that's why I cannot sleep on an overnight flight, because it's too hot!

How odd that people would comment negatively about you stating you are a pilots wife. When I first found your videos and heard that I knew immediately that meant 1) you travel A LOT and 2) you travel stand-by almost exclusively. That means you have experience flying and you have to pack super light all the time. That is a lot of information to give a viewer by just stating you are a pilots wife.

Your experiences as "pilots wife" are essential to helping others!

That's interesting! On my flight to Dublin, I had to go all the way to the front of the plane to place my carry on in the upper bins. One man, flight attendant, put it up for me. And at the end of the flight, I brought it down :)

I find most night flights were so cold! I just dress in layers as you never know!

So good! Didn't know gifts were ok, & wonder if bags of baby carrots would be better than sugary treats??!! Just kidding, but really, I seldom have room in my bags for extra stuff, with Diabetes monitor & meds, camera, spare outfit, jacket, etc., etc. & now I'm having serious back problems, trying for our next scheduled trip to Nova Scotia to pack even lighter. . . puzzling. I get shoe covers from Home Depot. I take my shoes off, put the covers on, and get ID/ticket prepped before getting in TSA line. I keep covers on until I get to a bench or my gate. It speeds up and lowers stress on my TSA experience while keeping my socks or bare feet clean!
